OTOY
The creativity of OTOY seamlessly blends deep social and political themes with contemporary musical styles. In recent years, the artist has consistently released new material that resonates profoundly with listeners, including tracks like "Pasma" and "Peklo," and albums such as Nedovhotryvali Vidnosyny (Short-Term Relationships), Temna Vol. 1, Temna Vol. 2, and 8 Rozdumiv (8 Reflections). In 2025, OTOY continues to experiment with new musical forms and redefine his artistic identity. Notably, he personally directed all of the music videos released this year, receiving significant acclaim from his audience. This highlights a new dimension of his artistry—music video direction. OTOY has solidified his status as a spokesperson for social issues and the voice of today’s conscious youth. His lyrics are so evocative that they have been adopted as slogans at rallies (most notably from the track "Pashcheka"). In 2023, Viacheslav performed on the Eurovision 2023 stage in Liverpool as a guest artist from Ukraine, participating in a powerful performance where he rapped verses by the legendary Ukrainian poet Taras Shevchenko. As a prominent representative of modern Ukrainian music, OTOY has been invited to perform at numerous international and local festivals, including Sziget (Budapest), Positivus (Riga), Rapolitics (Copenhagen), and Atlas Weekend (Kyiv). Between 2023 and 2025, OTOY earned several prestigious local music awards: "Artist of the Year" at the Jager Music Awards 2024, "Hip-Hop Artist of the Year" at the Megogo Music Awards 2023, and "Best Artist" according to the LiRoom Awards. In 2025, he was honored as a member of the "30 Under 30" list by Forbes Ukraine.
