Druha Rika is one of the leading and most recognizable bands on the modern Ukrainian music scene. Over three decades, the group has become an integral part of the cultural identity for several generations of Ukrainians. In 2026, the musicians are celebrating their 30th anniversary and are preparing to release a new album. Since its inception, Druha Rika has firmly maintained its position as a flagship of Ukrainian rock music. Their songs—lyrical, profound, and energetic all at once—consistently resonate with listeners. Compositions such as "Tak malo tut tebe," "Vzhe ne sam," "Vidchyniay," "Try khvylyny," "Sekret," "Pyu z tvoikh dolon," and "Furiia" have become undeniable hits and are etched into the history of Ukrainian music. Throughout their career, the band has released 7 studio albums, 2 compilations, and the live album Insha Rika. Druha Rika tours extensively both within Ukraine and abroad, maintaining a nearly unchanged lineup while continuing to create new music. Beyond their artistic endeavors, the musicians are deeply involved in social and volunteer work. Since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the band and their fans have raised over 30 million UAH to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine. These funds have been dedicated to purchasing ammunition, drones, vehicles, evacuation boats, and other essential equipment.
