DAKAYAK

DAKAYAK is a hip-hop duo hailing from Varva in the Chernihiv region. Band members GA5LO and SOKOL channel their lifestyle into their music, delivering a raw, energetic blend of rural vibes, absurd real-life stories, and personal reflections. Operating squarely within the hip-hop and rap genres, they masterfully mix in elements from various subgenres to create their distinct sound. The duo are the proud winners of the Young Blood: Grand Prix at the Jäger Music Awards 2026, as well as the champions of the 10th Koza Music Battle in Ternopil. They recently dropped their track Shafa ("Wardrobe"), recorded with the support of a grant from the "Na Yiyi Osnovi" ("On Her Foundation") music platform. DAKAYAK are officially signed to the OTG record label.
