"bye bye july" is the solo project of Vlad Lahoda, co-founder of Tember Blanche. “As a child, I had this feeling that July was the time when everything slowed down and you didn’t have to think about anything. bye bye july is a farewell to that feeling,” says Vlad Lahoda. Vlad has worked extensively with other artists — in Tember Blanche, on “Zvuchyt!”, and in various other projects. bye bye july is the place where he tells his own story. Musically, it’s indie rock inspired by the early albums of Coldplay, Snow Patrol, and Radiohead, with a touch of Californian pop-punk. “When I was 15, I went to an O.Torvald concert and became obsessed with writing music and performing on stage. After that, I attended nearly 50 of Zhenia Halych’s shows. If that previous sentence didn’t put you off, I’d be happy to see you at one of my concerts,” says Vlad Lahoda.
