Bah-Bah Genesis

Bah-Bah Genesis is an alternative rock band from Kyiv, formed in 2021. Their sound is a rich tapestry weaving together jazz-rock/fusion, math rock, post-rock, trip-hop, funk, prog-rock, bossa nova/samba, ambient, and various other genres. The lineup features Artem Yeliseiev (drums), Mykhailo Moroz (guitar), Iryna Andriienko (vocals), Andrii Bondarenko (bass), and Dzhemil Dzhelilov (saxophone). The band burst onto the scene with their debut single Confession on January 26, 2024. Earlier this year (2026), Bah-Bah Genesis dropped their single Doom, followed by a high-profile collaboration with CHUBAREENEE titled HCYBMH. Their highly anticipated debut album, L'eau Nouvelle, was officially released on May 22, 2026. Since their inception, the band has been an active force on the Kyiv music scene, frequently hosting charity concerts. They have performed at some of the capital's most prominent events and venues, including Lesia Kvartarynka, Pozhezha, Kureni, Ne.Kulturni, Repair Together, Brudniy Pes Festival, and Art-Zavod Platforma. Furthermore, in 2024, Bah-Bah Genesis was shortlisted for the prestigious Jäger Music Awards in the "Young Blood" category, solidifying their place among the brightest stars of Ukraine's independent scene. The band continues to experiment with their sound, push musical boundaries, and prepare even more sonic surprises.
