SHMISKA

Shmiska is an indie-pop project by Renata Tovstenko, originally from Chernihiv. Since 2022, the young artist has been building a promising musical career, crafting Ukrainian-language alternative pop. Renata has released a conceptual EP titled Merezhivo (Lace) along with a series of singles, many of which were created in collaboration with well-known artists such as Epolets, heitspich, Golubenko, Skazhy Shchos Pohane, and others. Alongside her creative work, Renata is studying sociology at the Sorbonne University. She remains an active figure in the Paris music scene, participating in charity events in support of Ukraine and performing at various music festivals. Shmiska's most recognizable tracks, "Zapalnya" (Lighter) and "DVD," have garnered tens of millions of streams across digital platforms and continue to go viral on TikTok.
